Saturday, July 18: Movies Under the Stars presents: "The Green Berets" in which John Wayne Joins the Army. Relive the excitement of viewing a major motion picture with a president and his family as Lyndon Johnson’s neighbors and friends did in the 60’s. Gates open at 7:30 pm with show times at 8:30 pm. Bring a picnic supper, refreshments, chairs and blankets. Enjoy these free classic movies that were shown in the hanger and the Texas White House in 1965 & 1968. Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park continues its popular summer movie series with three classic films, all to be shown on the LBJ Ranch near Stonewall. All movies are free of charge and will be presented on a giant outdoor screen with professional sound. All showings are set for Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m., with a rain date on the next (Sunday) night.

Saturday, July 25: Watson Studio Gallery: Fantastic Plastic, the Greatest Toy Camera Show on Earth, Behold the Greatest Toy Camera Show on Earth! Watson Studio Gallery and the Texas Photographic Society present Fantastic Plastic, a photographic exhibition celebrating fine art photography created using toy cameras and other low-fi cameras. The exhibition features 52 amazing feats by 45 photographic artists from near and far. Fantastic Plastic opens with a bang on Saturday, July 25 with a public and artist's reception from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
