| Die Gelbe Rose Carriage Die Gelbe Rose Carriages started out in 1991 as a one-horse, one-carriage operation in Fredericksburg, Texas named "The Yellow Rose". In 1992, we found the name to be in conflict with another company, so some of our dear friends in Fredericksburg (thank you, dears!) helped in the selection of this name. Die Gelbe Rose means "The Yellow Rose" in German. In 1992 we moved our operation to Austin Texas. In 1995, DGR started breeding Clydesdales, and have raised some magnificent looking horses. Ride a Clyde
We are now offering to bring a Clydesdale (Draft horse) to your party or special event for your guest to get on and see what its like to ride a Clyde. Take pictures, take a short ride, and young and old can do this. No age limit as long as they can get on the horse. We bring a mounting block, roped off area if needed. Horse can be decorated in costume theme as well. Or chose to do both Carriage Rides & Ride a Clyde. Give us a call or email your questions about working on your Special Event with you.
